Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day
of March , 1985. The following members were present:

The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 150
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1, GONYEAS THIRD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate utility and drainage easements on
the common lot line between Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Gonyeas Third Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for
March 4, 1985 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of March 4, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on March 4, 1985 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said utility and
drainage easements on the common lot line between Lots 2 and 3, Gonyeas Third
Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements are not
needed for public purposes;
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following drainage and utility easements be
vacated:
The west 6 feet of Lot 2 except the north 6 feet thereof and also
except the south 20 feet thereof; and,
The east 6 feet of Lot 3 except the north 15 feet thereof and also
except the south 10 feet thereof, all in Block 1, Gonyeas Third
Addition.
Said vacation shall not be filed at Hennepin County ur►til the lot consolidation
is filed.
The mop'on for the doption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasi�iouand upon vote 'oeing taken thereon, the
ifollowing voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain,
Schneider and Vasiliou.
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
