HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-149CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of February , 19 85 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ounce mem ers SchneiTer, Crain and Vasiliou The followinq members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 149 APPOINTMENT TO PLANNING COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission consists of seven commissioners appointed to three year terms expiring on January 31; and WHEREAS, one of the positions has been vacant since January 1, 1985; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed applications from interested applicants, conducted interviews and discussions regarding the most appropriate candidates for selection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it does hereby appoint George Mellen to the Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term ending anuary 31, 1986. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:_ Mavnr Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The for ow nq voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *ate s�� ri�r
