Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held an EW 25th day of
February 19 85, The following mmbers were present: Mayor Davenport,

Cgullmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 148
A RESOLUTION SETTING PARK DEDICATION FEES FOR 1985
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a policy setting forth park dedication fees
for residential and commercial/industrial property, and

WHEREAS, the City assessor has concluded that undeveloped residential property
is selling for approximately $10,000 per acre and undeveloped commercial/indus-
trial property for approximately $30,000 per acre, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that a park
dedication fee of $450 per unit be set for residential property and that the
fee of $2,500 per acre be used for commercial/industrial property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds this
recommendation to be appropriate, based on the assessor's land estimates,
and in comparison with park fees from other metropolitan communities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1585 park fees shall be $450 per residential
unit and $2,500 per acre for commercial/industrial property
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
and upon vote being taken there the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly Passed and adopted.
