Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of
. February , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor
davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 138
RECEIVING REPORT AND ORDERING PROJECT NO. 518
WOODLANDS ADDITION PHASE A
STREET AND UTILITIES
WHEREAS, the developers of Woodlands Addition Phase A have petitioned the City
to install a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage
facilities, sanitary sewer and watermain, and all necessary appurtenances on
streets within the Woodlands Addition Phase A; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary engineering report for Project 518 was ordered on
January 7, 1985 by the City Council and said report was presented to the City
Council on February 25, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the developer and owner have waived their rights to a public
improvement hearing and are owners of 100% of the property proposed to be
assessed;
goNOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements are hereby ordered as proposed in said
preliminary engineering report; and the petitioner have waived
their rights to a public hearing.
2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik h Associates are hereby designated as
the engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvements.
3. The construction contract will not be awarded until the owners of
Woodlands Addition enter into a developer's agreement with the City of
Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider,
Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
