Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of February . 1985.

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 131
APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR BOYER PALMER FOR THE BASS LAKE DEVELOP-
MENT COMPANY (84053)
WHEREAS, Boyer Palmer, for The Bass Lake Development Company, has requested approval
of a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment to reclassify land from LA -1 to CN (neighborhood
shopping center); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment
to reclassify land from LA -1 (low density residential) to CN (neighborhood shopping
center) located north of County Road 10 and east of Hemlock Lane, more specifically
10 described as follows:
Those parts of Lots 46, 47, 48, and 49, Morrison's Lake View Addition, according
to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 49; thence westerly along the
south line of said Lot 49, a distance of 6.00 feet to the beginning of the tract
of land to be described; thence northerly parallel with the east line of said
Lot 49 a distance of 227.00 feet; thence westerly deflecting 90 degrees left
300.00 feet; thence southerly deflecting 90 degrees left 201.97 feet to souther-
ly line of said Lot 46 and the northerly right-of-way line of Hennepin County
State Aid Highway No. 10, Plat 8; thence southeasterly and easterly along said
right-of-way line to the point of beginning.
FURTHER, the reguiding is approved subject to the following:
1. The Comprehensive Plan Criteria are satisfied, and the reguiding reconciles the
Land Use Guide Pan Classification with the Zoning (B-2).
2. Approval is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by
the Metropolitan Council.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider,
