Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION No. 85- 123
CALLING FOR REARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 225
45TH AVENUE FROM NATHAN LANE TO ZACHARY LANE
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted March 15, 1982 and October 15, 1964,
a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6 Associates• with
respect to the improvement of 45th Avenue between Zachary Lane and Nathan Lane,
including that portion lying within the Woodlands Addition; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the construction of a 9 ton bitumi-
nous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sever,
watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, this report was received by the Council on February 4, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a
portion of the costs of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $779,633.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th
day of March 1985 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center
at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain. Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
