HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-121CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of Februar , 1985. The following members were present: eeputy1mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were abset.t: ayorannpor , Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 121 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND GONYEAS THIRD ADDITION (83030) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated April 11, 1984, William A. Kanduth, Elvera Kanduth, Gonyea Development Company and Sophie K. Kanduth, developer of Gonyeas Third Addition (83030) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, ut;lity and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT 10Street Construction $ 93,800 $17,000 Sanitary Sewer 77,500 -0- Watermain 56,300 -0- Storm Sewer 75,600 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 11,600 11,600 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 600 600 Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 2,000 2,000 Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 2,000 2,000 Site Grading -0- -0- Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 38,328 3,984 TOTAL $357,7'8 $37,184 That the letter of credit required be reduced from $357,728 io $37,184 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer construction are accepted as of February 4, 1985 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou ` The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
