HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-1180 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of February . 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport �t Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-118 APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR LOT CONSOLIDATION/DIVISION OF UNPLAT- TED LAND AND AN EXISTING PLATTED LOT FOR UAVID VOLKER AND THOMAS BETZ (84109) WHEREAS, David Volker and Thomas Betz have requested approval of Variances from the Subdivision Code for consolidation/division of unplatted land and existing platted land to realign a common property line for property located at 2830 Brockton Land and 2815 Alvarado Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Subdivision Code variance for the following Consolidation/Division: EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION The North 100 feet of the South 200 feet of the West 217.8 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 19. Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian AND Lot 11 Block 5, Greentree West. To be consolidated and divided as follows: PARCEL A: The North 100 feet of the South 200 feet of the East 184.8 feet of the West 217.8 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 19, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, AND the North 5 feet of the West 35 feet of Lot 11, Block 5, GREENTREE WEST. PARCEL B: Lot 11, Block 5, Greentree West EXCEPT the North 5 feet of the West 35 feet thereof. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 85- 118 0 PARCEL C: The West 33 feet of the North 100 feet of the South 200 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 19, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian. (To be deeded to the City for roadway). FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin CourILy. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolutioin was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and �,pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The fol owing voted against or abstained:DeDuty iky-Qr Schneider Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
