HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-116CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of February . 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Meals and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-116 APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR ALFRED EBERLE, OR. (84104) WHEREAS, Alfred Eberle, Jr. has requested approval of Variances from the Subdivision Code to divide a 26,510 sq. ft. parcel from an 14.2.6 acre parcel, located North of Ridgemount Avenue and East of Zachary Lane, by means of metes and bounds description rather than platting, and a lot width of 100 ft. vs. 110 ft.; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission ha: reviewed the request and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve Subdivision Code variances as requested to allow the following Division: EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION The north 32 rods of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, except the north 318.00 feet of the west 241.00 feet thereof. Subject to easement for street over the most westerly 40.00 feet thereof. PARCEL A: The south 110.00 feet of the north 428.00 feet of the west 241.00 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian. Subject to the easement for street over the west 40.00 feet thereof. PARCEL B: The north 32 rods of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, exept the north 428.00 feet of the west 241.00 feet thereof. Subject to the easement for street over the most westerly 40.00 feet thereof. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Neils and Vasillou 1%4i Following vot against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
