HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-108CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of February , 1985. The following members Caere present: . Deputy Mayor Tchneider. Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 108 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS 53RD AVENUE/NATHAN LANE/SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND ADJACENT AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 503 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 85-25 of the City Council, adopted the 7th day of January 1985, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street improvements for Scherer Industrial Development and Adjacent Area; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements to serve the Scherer Industrial Development and Adjacent Area; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publica- tions of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 4th day of February 1985, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted January 7, 1985. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is designated as engineer for the improvements. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. The construction contract will not be awarded until the owners of the Scherer. Industrial Development and the Lorelei Addition enter into a developer's agreement with the City of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
