HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-097CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21St day of January , 1985. The following members were present: Manor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-97 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - EVEREST AND FOUNTAIN LANE WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting at the intersection of Everst and Fountain Lane; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the intersection of Everest and Fountain Lane filed with the City Council on January 21, 1985 herewith received. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will not require public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by . Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
