HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-092CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of January , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Crain, Neils. Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-92 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PARKERS WOODS ADDITION - PROJECT NO. 507 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adorted October 22, 1984, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates, Inc., with reference to the improvement of Parkers Woods Addition and the adjacent alley by the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt road and all necessary appurtenances as shown in the adopted 1985 Capital Improvements Program; and WHEREAS, this report was received by the Council on January 21, 1985; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. The Council will consider the improvements of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Law of 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $144,848.00. 2. A public hearing should be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th day of March 1985 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils_ Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
