Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
. Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held an the 21st day of
January . , 19 85. The following members were present:
Mayg rr Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasillou
The following members were sent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-77
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE PARK AND TRAIL SYSTEM PLANS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Comprehensive Park and
Trail System Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission held a public
hearing on proposed amendments to said plan on Thursday, January 10,
1985, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission finds said amend-
ments, which are outlined in a memo from the Director of Parks and
Recreation dated January 4, 1985, to be necessary, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, upon review of said amendments, finds the
changes appropriate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the amendments to the Comprehensive Park
and Trail System Plans, as outlined in a memo from the Director of
Parks and Recreation dated January 4, 1985, are hereby approved, with
the following condition:
1. Approval of the Comprehensive Park and Trail System Plan
amendment is contingent upon, and subject to, the required
review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof-'- Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain,
