HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-066CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21St day of January , 1985. The following members were present: your Davenport, ounce mem era rain, Neils, Schneider and VasiliouThe following members were absent: one Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-66 DENYING THE VACATION OF KINGSVIEW LANE SOUTH OF 14TH AVENUE WHEREAS, the petition to vacate Kingaview Lane south of 14th Avenue in the Sunset Acres plat was received by the City Council; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of December 17, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 17, 1984 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said Kingaview Lane in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.815, as amended; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council did continue said public hearing until January 21, 1985 at the request of the petitioner; and WHEREAS, the petitioner has now asked that the Council dismiss his petition for said vacation; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that Kingaview Lane south of 14th Avenue in the Sunset Acres plat is needed for a public street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: That the request to vacate Kingaview Lare south of 14th Avenue in the Sunset Acres plat is denied. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted to favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following votes against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
