HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-029CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of 10Januar , 1985. The following members were present '16yor Davenport, enc ers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Yasiliou The following members were absent: none nt*ir iM� �r�nk , Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-29 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT REVERE LANE WITHIN OUTLOT "C" - TRENTON PLACE FIRST ADDITION STREET AND UTILITIES - PROJECT NO. 517 WHEREAS, the developers of Trenton Place First Addition have petitioned the City to install a 7 -ton bituminous strett with concrete curb and gutter, drain- age facilities, sanitary sever, watermain and all necessary appurtenances on Revere Lane within Outlot "C" of said addition; and WHEREAS, the petition filed with the City Council on January 7, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a . portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953 Chapter 398, as amei.ded); and WHEREAS, the developers have waived their right to a public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it Qhould best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated costs of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 10 following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmen6ersCrain, Neils Schneider and Yasiliou The following voted against or abstained:.
