Pursuant to due call and nctice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day
. of Januarg, 1985. The following members were present: ;favor Davenport,
ouunncilmem ers rain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-26
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 509
NIAGARA LANE - HIGHWAY 55 TO COUNTY ROAD 6 - STREET AND UTILITIES
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted October 22, 1984,
a report has been prepared by Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. with respect to the improve-
ment of Niagara Lake from Highway 55 to County Road 6; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of a 9 ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage fac,lities, sanitary sewer,
watermain and all necessary aoourtenances: and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 7, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
429.011 to 429.111 (Laws of 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated
total cost of the improvement of $1,601,548.00
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th day
of February 1985 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at
3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
