HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-023CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of Januar , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport ounce mem ers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 23 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 504 47TH AVENUE IN THE TAMMY MIDDLEMIST ADDITION - STREET AND UTILITIES WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted October 22, 1984, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates with respect to the improvement of 47th Avenue within the Tammy Middlemist Addition; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, blacktop road and all necessary appurtenances on 47th Avenue within the proposed Tammy Middlemist Addition (from the west line of Tract E north and east to the cul-de-sac within Registered Land Survey No. 466); and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 7, 1985; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws of 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $134,693.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th day of February 1985 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain.
