Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
' 7th day of January , 19 85. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain Neils, Schneider and Vasilio
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-21
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT ACROSS LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 2
WILLOW PONDS ADDITION
WHEREAS, Bruce Vennelli and Robert Lundberg have requested that the City Council
vacate the north 10 feet of the drainage easement on their lots in Willow Ponds
Addition; and
WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacations:
1. That part of Lot 1, Block 2, Willow Ponds according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying north of a line which
is parallel to and 20 feet north of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Lot 1, Block 2, Willow
Pond, 20 feet north of the southwest corner thereof, thence easterly
' to a point on the east line of said Lot 1, which is 29 feet north of
the southeast corner, thereof and thus terminating.
2. That part of Lot 2, Block 2, Willow Ponds according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying north of a line which
is parallel to, and 20 feet north of the following described line:
Beginning on the west line of said Lot 2, Block 2, Willow Pond, 29
feet north of the southwest corner thereof; thence easterly to a point
on the east line of said Lot 2, which is 40 feet north of the southeast
corner thereof and there terminating; and
WHEREAS, both owners have granted the City an additional 10 foot easement immed-
iately south of the existing easement at no charge; and
WHEREAS, the north 10 feet of the existing easement is not needed by the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should and hereby does, establish the date of February 4, 1985
at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, CouncilmembersCrain,
Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
