The following members were present: y0r Davenport, Councilmembers Crain. Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-20 DECLARING ADEQUACEY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - PILGRIM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WHEREAS, a petition has been received fro Pilgrim United Methodist Church requesting installation of street lighting at 4325 Zachary Lane; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the installation of street lighting at 4325 Zachary Lane, filed with the City Council on January 7, 1985, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. The declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 1002 of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenienct speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain Neils, Schneider and_Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass ,t*,t
