Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day
of January , 198S. The following members were present: Mayor Javenoort,
. COunci mem ers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 85 - 18
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
STREET LIGHTING - ORCHID LANE 3RD AVENUE TO 8TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution that the Council adopted December 17, 1984 a
report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement
of Orchid Lane between 3rd Avenue and 8th Avenue by the installation of street
lighting system and this report was received by the Council on January 7, 1985;
NOW, THEFEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
I. The Council will consider the improvement of such street lighting
project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statute, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Law of 1953,
Chapter 398, as amended) and an estimated total cost of improvement of
10 approximately $1.15 per month per parcel.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on the 21st day of
January, 1985 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement
as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
