Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the —17th day of December . 1984.

Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84-905
APPOINTING MAFIA VASILIOU AS COUNCILMEMBER FOR A TERM EXPIRING
DECEMBER 31, 1985.
WHEREAS, Councilmember Pat Moen has resigned from the City Council, and the City
Council has declared her seat to be vacant effective January 1, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Moen's term would have expired December 31, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has invited citizens of Plymouth to express their interest
• in being considered to fill the remaining one year of Councilmember Moen's unexpired
term; and
WHEREAS, the City Council received 12 interest forms from citizens which have been
reviewed by this Coun41;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that Maria Vasiliou be and same is hereby appointed to the Plymouth City
Council to complete the unexpired term of Councilmember Pat Moen, which appointment
shall be effective January 1, 1985.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider ,_ and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor avenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils
_- and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None
. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
