Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
17th day of December , 19 84. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, ounce mem ers Neils, Moen, Schneider and Crain
The following members were a sent: none
Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 900
AUTHORIZING SALE OF HOUSE AT 13427 1ST AVENUE AND
RELOCATION TO GLACIER MEADOWS ADDITION
WHEREAS, as part of the street right-of-way acquisition for the County
Road 61 Improvements, Project 216, it was necessary to acquire the House
at 13427 lst Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the house has a salvage value if moved from its present location; and
WHEREAS,the Plymouth HRA, another governmental unit, is interested in the
acquisition of the house; and
WHEREAS, the house has an appraised value with regard to moving of $10,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.
PLYMOUTH that the house at 13427 1st Avenue is authorized for sale to the
Plymouth [IRA in the amount of $10,000;
FURTHER, that the Plymouth HRA is responsible for the moving of the house
and all costs associated with the move, as well as for the site preparation
and the improvements to the house required for code compliance as set forth
in HRA Resolution No. 84-11.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Moen, Schneider and Crain
