HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-886CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10 17th day of December , 19 84. The following members were present: mayor navpnnort. Co n ilmember Crain, Moen, Neils and Schneider The following "members were absent: None CounrilmPmher Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 886 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 445 KINGSVIEW LANE - COUNTY ROAD 15 TO NIAGARA LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 18, 1984, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 4 Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvements on Kingsview Lane from County Road 15 to Niagara Lane by the installation of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on September 4, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment_ of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $108,378.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 21st day of January, 1985 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Moen. Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
