HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-884CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of December, , 19 84. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Grain, Moen, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: one Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 884 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - ORCHID LANE - 3RD AVENUE TO 8TH AVENUE WHEREAS, a petition has been received requesting installation of residential street lighting on Orchid Lane from 3rd Avenue to 8th Avenue; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Orchid Lane from 3rd Avenue to 8th Avenue by the installation of residential street lighting, filed with the City Council on December 17, 1984, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. The declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmember Moen, Crain, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
