Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
17th day of December , 1984 , The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Eben Neils and Schneider.
The following members were absent: one
Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 882
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - HERITAGE WEST ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from John Karos requesting installation
of ornamental residential street lighting in the Heritage West Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY INE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Heritage West Addition by
the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the
City Council on December 17, 1984, is hereby declared to be signed by the
required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. The declar-
ation is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment
hearings.
3. The petitio_ is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recom-
mended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Moen,
Neils and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
