Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the Thb day of December 1984.

Counciimember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84-867
BURGESS INDUSTRIES, INC. REQUEST FOR DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SMALL CITIES GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Burgess Industries, Inc. has requested the City Council of Plymouth to act
as the sponsoring unit of government for the project entitled "Burgess Industries,
Inc. Project", which project is to be conducted from January 15, 1985 through
December 31, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council following a public hearing held on December 17, 1984 found
that the community would benefit by the approval of said project by the Minnesota
Department of Energy and Economic Development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
that James G. Willis, City Manager for the City of Plymouth be and the same is hereby
authorized and directed to apply to the Minnesota Department of Energy and Economic
Development for funding for this project on behalf of the Plymouth City Council.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Couneilmamber Moen , and upon vote being taken tom,tTie
