The following members were present: Mayor Daven-art- CMinrilmPhors Moen- Neils, The Tollowing members were absent: none .min ilm mh r Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 839 ENDORSING ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITIES REPORT ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO HOUSING CHAPTER OF THE METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT GUIDE WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has prepared revisions to the Housing Chapter of the Metropolitan Development Guide, as an update of the Chapter which was last revised in 1976; and, WHEREAS, the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities, through its Housing Advisory Committee, has reviewed the proposed changes in detail, and has adopted the findings of that committee in a report dated November 1, 1984; and, WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is concerned that the Housing Chapter of the Metropolitan Development Guide accurately reflect current needs and responsibilities of municipalities which strive to meet citizen's housing needs through the implementation of adopted comprehensive plans which include Land Use Guide Plans and Housing Plans; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does endorse the November 1, 1984 report of the AMM Board of Directors regarding proposed revisions to the Housing Chapter of the Metropolitan Development Guide; FURTHER, be it resolved that the City Administrative staff is directed to communicate this endorsement to the Metropolitan Council in conjunction with City concerns and observations regarding the proposed revisions to the Housing Chapter of the Metropolitan Development Guide. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, ine Toilowing voted against or aDstainea: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
