HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-833CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the _ 9th :day of November . 1984. . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Neils, Moen and Crain were absent: Councilmember Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 833 RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $4,513 FOR 1985 OPERATING AND CAPITAL OUTLAY EXPENSES FOR THE PLYMOUTH HISTORICAL SOCIETY WHEREAS, in an October 12, 1982 letter to the Plymouth Historical Society, the City Council set forth its policy with respect to budgetary requests from the Plymouth Historical Society; and WHEREAS, the Historical Society has submitted a budget request dated October 30, 1984 for operating and capital outlay expenses expected to be incurred in 1985; and . WHEREAS, the budget requested by the Historical Society does not conform to the Council's policy and amounts to $6,125; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does authorize the allocation of $4,513 as the City's budgetary contribution to the Plymouth Historical Society for calendar year 1985; and further, that these funds shall be administered through the City Finance Department in accordance with the funding philosophy set forth in the October 12, 1982 letter.
