HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-801CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of November , 1984. The following members were present: Acting Mayor mcilmembers Neilsand Crain The following members were absent:MaVO]' Davenport. CouncilKember Moen Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 801 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 427 SCHMIDT GARDENS STREET AND UTILITIES WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted April 1, 1984, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6 Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvements within the Schmidt Gardens Addition by the instal- lation of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on June 18, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited 10 property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $519,360.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 3rd day of December, 1984 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by touncilmember Neils , -,^.,' upaL, vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider.
