HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-796CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of Ngvember ,1984. The following: C ng members were presentMayor 1b SEnnelaer, Lounc, lmembers Neils and lCrain The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport and Councilmember Moen Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 796 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION ON COUNTY ROAD 18 SERVICE ROAD NORTH OF 51ST AVENUE PROJECT NO. 011 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on February 4, 1980, the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for watermain construction and all necessary appurtenances on the County State Aid Highway 18 service road from Slat Avenue North to the Soo Line Railroad tracks; and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. Such construction shall be added to the 1984 Street and Utility Construction Program (Projects No. 337, 414, 403, 412) by Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $34,121. 3. Original contract price $363,139.10 Change Order No. 1 52,429.55 Change Order No. 2 34,121.00 Revised total contract amount $449,689.65 4. That the City Manager is authorized to sign the permit with the Soo Line Railroad Company (No. 23648) for Project No. 011. the motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
