Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 110. 84- 792
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 011 - SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION
NATHAN LANE, S1ST AVENUE TO THE SOO LINE RAILROAD TRACKS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 80-105, passed by the City Council on
February 4, 1980, the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosens, Anderlik :
Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for sanitary sever
improvements and all necessary appurtenances on Nathan Lane between 51st Avenue
and the Soo Line Railroad tracks; and
WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica-
tions. The advertisement shall be published for one day, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by
the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 1984, at
which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota by the City Engineer and the Public Works Director and that
no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk
and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
3. That the City Manager is authorised to sign the permit with the Soo
Line Railroad Company (No. 23648) for Project No. 011.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils
and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
