HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-770CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2�21�'dday of October , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crair The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils, introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 770 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT COUNTY ROAD 61 FROM COUNTY ROAD 47 TO THE SOUTH LINE OF BASS LAKE WOODS ADDITION PROJECT 416 WHEREAS, the adopted 1985 Capital Improvements Program proposed the instal- lation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt road all necessary appurtenances on County Road 61 (Northwest Boule- vard) from County Road 47 to the South line of Bass Lake Woods Addition (the street improvement to be only the East one half of the 52 foot wide, 9 ton minor arterial street); and WHEREAS, the property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953 Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to StrgarRoscoe, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether a proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated costs of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of he foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moer , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor_ Davenport.
