Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the2_ 2nd _ day of
October , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and saved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 769
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
PARRERS WOODS ADDITION AND ADJACENT ALLEY
PROJECT 507
WHEREAS, the adopted 1985 Capital Improvements Program proposed the instal-
lation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter,
asphalt road all necessary appurtenances within Parkers Woods Addition and the
adjacent Alley; and
WHEREAS, the property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a
portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section
429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953 Chapter 398, as amended);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Sonestroo,
Rosene, Anderlik b Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to
report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether a proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated'costs of such an improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained:. none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
