HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-742CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and n -.lice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of October , 1984. The following members were present:alayor Davenport, . ounce mem ers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Cound 1member Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 742 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT WOODLANDS ADDITION - 45TH AVENUE PROJECT NO. 225 WHEREASI, the developer of the Woodlands Addition has petitioned the City to install 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances on 45th Avenue within the Woodlands Addition between Zachary Lane and approximately 2650 feet east of Zachary Lane; and WHEREAS, the City has previously had a preliminary engineering report prepared for said improvements between Nathan Lane and Zachary Lane under Project No. 225; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise said improvement estimates because of the realignment of 45th Avenue; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such improvements will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953 Chapter 398, as amended); and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates for study and that they prepare revised costs for Project 225 and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the revised estimated cost of such an improvement As recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained:. none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
