HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-741CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call ar;.d notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of October , 1984. The following members were present7-75yor-Davenport, ounce mem rs Moen„ Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Councilmember Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 741 RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT 47TH AVENUE NORTH - TAMMIE MIDDLEMIST ADDITION PROJECT NO. 504 WHEREAS, the developer of proposed Tammie Middlemist Addition has petitioned the City to install sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, blacktop road ano all necessary appurtenances on 47th Avenue within the proposed Tammie Middlemird;t Addition (from the west line of Tract E north and east to the cul-de-sac w!Ithin Registered Land Survey No. 466); and WHEREAS, the property benefited by such pro. -cts will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws; 1953 Chapter 398, as amended); and WHEREAS, the developer;'has waived his rights to a public improvement hearing and special assessment hearings on this improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6 Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether a proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should beat be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated costs of such an improvement as recommended. The motion; for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following` voted in favor thereof: Magor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained:. none Whereup<<,n the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
