Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
' of October , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
rouncilmerbers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: none
Councilmenber Moen introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 726
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN UTILITY EASEMENTS IN
VICKSBURG INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, certain utility easements in Block 1, Vicksburg Industrial Park are no
longer necessary for public purposes for which they were originally intended;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on October 15,
1984 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of October 15, 1984; and
.WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 15, 1984 to inform
any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utiity
easements in Block 1, Vicksburg Industrial Park; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were no
longer needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following utility easements in Vicksburg
Industrial Park are hereby vacated:
The utility and drainage easements along the north property line of Lot 2,
Block 1, Vicksburg Industrial Park and the same portion along the southerly
property line of Lot 1, Block 1, Vicksburg Industrial Park; except the West
10 feet and the East 6 feet thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davneport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
