Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st
day of
October 1984. The following members were present: ayor Davenport,
Counci members Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were
absent: Councilmember Moen
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 718
APPROVING LOT DIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR
TWO PARCELS LOCATED AT 14100 COUNTY ROAD 6 (83060)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested division of an approximate 4 acre
site into two parcels; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended
approval of the division:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the following
division:
EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
That part of the West 660 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 22, lying North of the center line
of County Road No. 6 and East of the East line of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2
of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter except the North 655 feet
thereof, and except the West 131.19 feet of the North 256.99 feet of the above
described property, according to the Govetiynment Survey thereof.
To be divided as follows:
PARCEL A:
That part of the following described land:
That part of the West 660 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 22, lying North of the center line
of County Road No. 6 and East of the East line of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2
of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter except the North 655 feet
thereof, and except the West 131.19 feet of the North 256.99 feet of the above
described property, according to the Government Survey thereof.
Lying easterly of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly right-of-way line of Interstate
Highway No. 494 as described in Book 68, Page 3730193, office of Hennepin
County Recorder and the east -west quarter line of Section 27, Township 118
North, Range 22 West; thence South 6 degrees 19 minutes 50 seconds West,
assumed bearing, along said right-of-way line a distance of 139.91 feet; thence
South 10 degrees 7 minutes 50 seconds West a distance of 131.95 feet; thence
Southwesterly a distance of 672.39 feet along a curve concave to the northwest
having a central angle of 26 degrees 30 minutes 59 seconds and a radius of
1452.89 feet; thence South 36 degrees 38 minutes 49 seconds West a distance of
136.25 feet; thence southwesterly and southerly a distance of 214.15 feet along

a curve concave to the southeast having a central angle of 28 degrees 19
minutes 50 seconds and a radius of 433.10 feet; thence South 3 degrees 18
minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 125.35 feet to the centerline of County
Road No. 6 as per Plat No. 5, Document No. 976842.

That part of the West 660 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Soutnwest
Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 22, lying North of the center line
of County Road No. 6 and East of the East line of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2
of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter except the North 655 feet
thereof, and except the West 131.19 feet of the North 256.99 feet of the above
described property, according to the Government Survey thereof.
Lying westerly of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly right-of-way line of Interstate
Highway No. 494 as described in Book 68, Page 3730193, office of Hennepin
County Recorder and the east -west quarter line of Section 27, Township 118
North, Range 22 West; thence South 6 degrees 19 minutes 50 seconds West,
assumed bearing, along said right-of-way line a distance of 139.91 feet; thence
South 10 degrees 7 minutes 50 seconds West a distance of 131.95 feet; thence
Southwesterly a distance of 672.39 feet along a curve concave to the northwest
having a central angle of 26 degrees 30 minutes 59 seconds and a radius of
1452.89 feet; thence South 36 degrees 38 minutes 49 seconds West a distance of
136.25 feet; thence southwesterly and southerly a distance of 214.15 feet along
a curve concave to the southeast having a central angle of 28 degrees 19
minutes 50 seconds and a radius of 433.10 feet; thence South 8 degrees 18
minutes 59 seconds West a distance of 125.35 feet to the centerline of County
Road No. 6 as per Plat No. 5, Document No. 976842.
FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special
assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the Consolidation is
approved by Hennepin County.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted again;-* or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared d u1► passed and adopted.
