Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1_S day
of October , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
e Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 716
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - ROLLING HILLS PARK ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Saul Segal of Enterprise Properties
requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the
Rolling Hills Park Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINN,SOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Rolling Hills Park
Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting,
filed with the City Council on October 1, 1984, is hereby declared to be
signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby.
This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section
429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment
hearings.
3. The petition as hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as
to whether it should beat be made as proposed or in conjunction with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
. Councilmenber Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils.
Schneider and Cra'r
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
