P" rsuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of October 1984.
The following members were present:_ Mayor Davenport, Cound lme,lbers Neils, _
Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: Councilmem er Moen
Councilmenber Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 690
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTRIBUTION OF FUNDS TO THE HOME FREE SHELTER,
WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES PLANNING BOARD, AND NORTHWEST HENNEPIN HUMAN
SERVICES PLANNING COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a policy to evaluate human service funding
requests; and
WHEREAS, the City has received requests for funding in 1985 from the Home Free
Shelter for the Plymouth Domestic Assault Intervention Project, West Hennepin Human
Services Planning Board, and Northwest Hennepin Human Services Planning C-uncil; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has evaluated the program of each of these agencies against
the policy criteria; and
WHEREAS, each of the programs are in substantial conformance with the policy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that it should and hereby does authorize 1985 funding contributions in the following
amounts to each of the agencies as shown below:
1. Home Free Shelter, Plymouth Domestic
Assault Intervention Project $18,110.00
2. West Hennepin Human Services Planning Board 3,963.00
3. Northwest Hennepin Human Services Plannine Council 3,559.40
TOTAL
$25,632.40
FURTHER, that such funds shall be allocated from account no. 101-189-899.42, and
shall be paid upon receipt of appropriate invoice in calendar year 1985.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neil:, and upon vote being taken t ereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmer.ibers Neils,
Schneider and Crain
