HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-687CITY Of PLVNMM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the st day of October 19&4. The following menbers were present: Mayor DavenporT-,-C—ouncilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain fo ng members were absent: Councilmember Hoen Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- -37 APPROVING VARIANCE FROM THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT POLICY RESOLUTION NO. 75-6.;4 FOR JACK TAYLOR FOR PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF VICKSBURG LANE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUIRTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 4, 5550 VICKSBURG LANE NORTH (84071) WHEREAS, Jack Taylor has requested approval of a Variance from the Urban Development Policy Resolution No. 75-664, to divide an unserviced 9Q acre parcel into a 5 acre parcel and a 25 acre parcel; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Variance from the Urban Development Policy Resolution Ne. 75-664 to divide unserviced property located east of Vicksburg Lane in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, 5550 Vicksburg Lane Kbrth for the following reasons: 1. It has been demonstrated by the petitioner that the proposal will not cause an unreasonable burden upon the City of Plymouth in providing services and utilities, or cause a deleterious impact upon the natural environment. 2. The petitioner fill file a perpetual covenant on the property restricting any further subdivision of the land. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain, and upon vote being taken thereon, t e 0 wi ong voted n avor thereof: ayor avenport, Councilmembers Neils, and Crain The following voted against or abstained: w:ereupon the Resolutioa was declared duly .
