Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting, of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of October 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 686 APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR SCHAPER MANUFACTURING (84055) WHEREAS, Schaper Manufacturing has requested approval of a Site Plan Amendment to ex- pand their parking area located southeast of South Shore Drive and northeast of 13th Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a regularly scheduled meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYM')UTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reat,est for Schaper Manufactur- ing for a Site Plan Amendment to expand their parking area at the facility located 1bsoutheast of South Shore Drive and northeast of 13th Avenue North, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Provisions for a 30 -ft. wide trail easement along 13th Avenue North for Hennepin County Regional Trail, as verified by the Parks and Engineering Departments, with submittal of detailed plans as to construction of the trail per City standards. 3. Submission of required Site Performance Agreement and financial guarantee for completion of site improvements. 4. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approv- als per Ordinance provisions. 5. Petitioner will develop a modified plan with City staff which avoids an increase In the amount of impervious paved surface by means of elimbrating certain exist- ing paved areas, and substituting them with green space and landscaping as com- pensation; further, tha amount of parking, the design of driving and parking areas, and the landscaping shall at least satisfy Ordinance minimum stagdards. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmerher Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, CouncilmwnhCrs Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
