HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-681CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a speci_a_lmeeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the - 24th day of September . 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Council members lMoen, ei s, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 681 LEVYING TAXES IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,348,023 WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 1985 and certain monies to finance said budgets are required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for the year 1985 as set out in the adopted 1985 City budoets; General Purpose General Fund . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $4,280,418 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. f1 - Bassett Creek. . . . . . . . . 236,268 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #2 - Minnehaha Creek. . . . . . . . 92,679 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #3 - Elm Creek. . . . . . . . . . . 4,224 Storm Sewer Tax Dist. #4 - Shingle Creek. . . . . . . . . 36,409 TOTAL GENERAL PURPOSE Special Levies: City Special Assessment . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davehport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: noge Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly -passed and adopted.
