HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-669CITY OF PLYMDUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sRecial� meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of Se tember . 1984• The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 669 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT, SITE PLAN, AND VARIANCE FOR HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK RESERVE DISTRICT (84065) WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Park Reserve District has requested approval of a Con- ditional Use Permit Amendment, Site Plan, and Variance for the conversion and expan- sion of an existing residence located within the Clifton E. French Regional Park to locate their District Headquarters; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for the Hennepin County Park Reserve District for a Conditional Use Permit Amendment, Site Plan, and Variance for the conversion and expansion of an existing residence located within the Clifton E. French Regional Park to locate their District Headquarters, subject to the follow- ing conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Compliance with Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevatins for new structures on sites adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. 3. Submission of required financial guarantee and performance agreement for comple- tion of site improvements. 4. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approv- als per Ordinance provisions. 5. All xaste and waste containers shall be stored within the enclosure and no -ut- side storage is permitted. 6. Compliance with Resolution No. 82-235 PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 84- 669 7. Waiver of the fire lane requirements. 8. Prior to issuance of a Building Permit, a structural analysis prepared by a structural engineer who is registered in the State of Minnesota should be provided to the Building Official, confirming that the use of the existing building for purposes other than residential meet and/or exceed the Uniform Building Code requirements. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, and Schneider The folloolng voted against or abstained: Councilmembgr Brain Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
