Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of September , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,
Counci mem era Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 639
ADOPTING ASSESSMENT - PROJECT NO. 456
SANITARY SEWER AND WATER SERVICE HOCRUP AND PERMIT FEE ADDITION
WHEREAS, we hve received a waiver of assessment hearing from the property
owners of 2-118-22-42-0007, 15-118-22-32-0006, 15-118-22-32-0025,
20-118-22-43-0041, and 27-118-11-44-0007 waiving their right to special
assessment hearings covering the installation of sanitary sewer and water
services and permit fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment
against the lands named therein and each tract of land herein included is
hereby bound to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of
the assessment levied against it.
2. Such asseroment shall be payable in equal annual installment- extending
over a period of 3 years, the first of the installments to 'd payable on or
before the first Monday in January 1985 and shall bear int.:rest at the rate
of 9.17% pdr annum from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution.
To the ficst installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment
from th; date of this resolution until December 31, 1985. To each subse-
quent installment when due shall be added interest of one year on all
unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certifica-
tion of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the
assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to
the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire
assessment is paid within thirty days from the adoption of this resolution;
and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance Director the
entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to
December 31 of the year in which the payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment
to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of
the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the
same manner as other municipal taxes.
5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is $11,789.49
The motion for the adoptior of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by,
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: _Myor Davenport. Councilmembers Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
