HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-630CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of September , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, . Councilmembers Neils. Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 84- 630 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AMHURST 2ND AND 3RD ADDITIONS - INTEREST ON DEFERRED PRINCIPAL WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 4, 1984 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for interest on deferred principal on certain lands within the City as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Couacil that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, *iE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the lst day of October 1984 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cast of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
