HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-627CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a cppcial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of -September , 1984. The following members were present--Wayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain . The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 627 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR AMHURST 2ND AND 3RD ADDITIONS - INTEREST ON DEFERRED PRINCIPAL WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No 83-448 adopted on the 12th of September 1983, assessments for sewer and water lateral were deferred as per the agree- ment between the owners of Amhurst 2nd and 3rd Additions at the established rate with interest of 8.38% being assessed each year to cover the debt service, and a determination has been made, as provided by law, and the total amount of such interest is in the amount of $9,100.34, and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such interest to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $9,100.34. . 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, @ball forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for tte adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport.
