HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-625CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the '4th day of Seatember , 1984. The following members were present:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: Councilmember Moen Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84- 625 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE DELINQUENT SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGES, WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND STREET LIGHT CHARGES WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 444.075 M.S.A. and Chapter VII, Section 715.03, 720.21 and 730.13 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, a determination has been made that certain charges for sanitary sewer service, water service and street lighting have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount of such delinquent charges including incidental expenses incurred is in the amount of $82,504.02 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $82,504.02. 10 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolutoon was duly seconded by ' Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. tF�,tr rint,t #rinY
