Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day
of Au ust 1984. The following members were present: ayor Davenport,
ounce mem�lRoen, Neils, Schneider and Crain
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84- 584
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF QUAKER LANE WITHIN RIDGECREST ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Nick Loscheider and Charles Utoft have
petitioned the City Council for a vacation of a portion of Quaker Lane within
the Ridgecrest Addition ; and
WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacation:
That part of Quaker Lane as dedicated in the plat of Ridgecrest
Addition lying southeasterly of the following described line:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 1, Block 1,
Ridgecrest Addition; thence South 22 degrees 25 minutes
25 seconds West 148.00 feet to the curve point in the
westerly line of Lot 2, said Block 1 and there terminate.
goFor the purpose of this description, the north line of said
Lot 1 is assumed to bear West.
According to the plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the County Recorder in and for Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 17,
1984 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmemb&rs Moen, Neils,
Schneider and Crain
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
