HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-571CITY Of PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereo", a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of August 19844 The following members were present: ayor Davenport, ounc m Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following members were absent: none COuncilme0ber Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-571 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 456 SANITARY SEWER AND WATER SERVICE HOOKUP AND PERMIT FEE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 20, 1984 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost for sanitary sewer and water service hookup and permit fees which have not been paid as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A hearing shall be held on the 17th day of September, 1984 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth . Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Moen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted is favor thereof: Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
