HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1984-566CITT OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the day of _Auoust . 1984. The following members were present: ayor Davenport, f�uncilme®hers Noen. Neijs. Schneider and Crain awe following waDers were absent: none Councilaember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION Na. 84- 566 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 231 678 AVENUE/HUMPHREY ESTATES ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 20, 1984 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 6th Avenue from a point 696 ft. M.O.L. East of the centerline of Xenium Lane to Pineview Land and Sycamore Lane and Sycamore Circle within the proposed Humphrey Estates Addition by the installation of storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sever lateral, watermain lateral and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk bas notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT REVERT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTS, MUUMUU: 1. A bearing shall be held on the 17th day of September, 1984 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such tine and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard irith reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a novice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official ,newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total coat of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CounciInw6er Moen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Moen, Neils, Schneider and Crain The following voted against or abstained! none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,rrsr ear s�
